Alamogordo High School’s Aric Vazquez of Tiger Baseball is the 4/16/25 Tiger Athlete of the Week hosted by 101.9 FM, 1230 AM and is sponsored by Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. and The Winners’ Circle. 

In Baseball action Mesilla Valley Christian defeated Mescalero Apache 15 to 3. The Chiefs dropped their record to 4 and 11 and 0-2 in district. They next play at Capitan on Tuesday for a doubleheader. 

Baseball -Tularosa split a doubleheader with Cobre, the Wildcats won 14-13 in Game 1, Indians win 11-6 in Game 2.  The Wildcats record is now 11-6 and 8-1 in district. They next host Dexter on Tuesday.

In Softball action Robertson defeated Tularosa 8-0. The Lady Cats dropped to 10-6 and will host Hot Springs next Saturday for a doubleheader.

Softball –  Las Cruces defeatex Alamogordo 5-4. The Lady Tigers dropped to 12-9 and 3-7 in district. They next play at Las Cruces on Thursday.
