The Labor Hub located at 1114 Indiana at 12th Street has taken an area of the old St. John’s Episcopal Church which has not been used in decades and restored the rooms to make it a free community tool library and work hub.  The church building itself is one of the historic older buildings of Alamogordo on the back side of Otero Arts. The rooms for this new nonprofit venture were once a blibd school built by another nonprofit and eventually donated to the church. The chuch pastor claims “its only fitting to again have the rooms refurbished and again open to the community in an effort of community building and rehabilitating and enhancing the neighborhood.”
