ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — Music lovers across Otero County are invited to tune in this evening, Wednesday, May 20 at 5:45 p.m., for a special live performance and conversation with acclaimed flutist Samuel Pollack.

Local musician and songwriter James Cameronwill host the event, which will stream live on the Alamogordo Town News and KALHRadio.orgplatforms. The program will feature Pollack performing on his extensive collection of flutes from around the world, along with personal stories from his adventures as a traveling artist.

James Cameron, who hosts a monthly educational podcast in our new expanded studios for KALH Radio.org and AlamogordoTownNews.org spotlighting the best in local talent. This broadcast is a special preview ahead of Pollack’s upcoming return to the area for a live performance at Otero Arts. 

Samuel Pollack, a professional flutist originally from Alamogordo, is known for creating moments of harmony and wonder wherever he goes. His performances range from Renaissance festivals and sound healing events to spontaneous encounters with passersby. With his project Temple of Wind, Pollack brings a unique, peaceful expression of music drawn from a grand collection of handcrafted flutes made by artisans worldwide.
